DailyMate ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and related services.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly and data generated through your use of the app:

  • Account information: Email, display name, and profile details when you register or sign in (e.g., via Google or Apple Sign-In).
  • User-generated content: Mood logs, journal entries, tasks, goals, habits, finance data, quick notes, and health-related inputs you create in the app.
  • Health data: Steps, sleep, hydration, and other health metrics you choose to sync from Apple Health (iOS) or Health Connect (Android). We only access data you explicitly authorize.
  • Device information: Device type, operating system, and app version for compatibility and support.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the DailyMate app and its features.
  • Sync your data across your devices when you are signed in.
  • Generate insights (e.g., mood patterns, cross-domain analytics) within the app.
  • Process subscription purchases and validate your premium status.
  • Send you notifications you have opted into (e.g., reminders, health alerts).
  • Respond to support requests and improve our services.
  • If you enable optional webhooks, send event data (e.g. task completed, mood logged) to URLs you configure (e.g. Zapier, Make) for your own automation.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored using Firebase (Google Cloud). We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Your journal, mood, tasks, and other personal content are stored in your own Firestore user document and are not shared with third parties for advertising or marketing.

We use the following third-party services:

  • Firebase / Google Cloud: Authentication, Firestore database, and analytics.
  • Apple & Google: Sign-in and in-app purchase processing.
  • Open-Meteo: Weather data (no personal data shared).

Each service has its own privacy policy. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
